Not a subprocessor

A School's Canvas LMS is not a subprocessor. When a teacher enables grade sync, Lingua sends only the numeric grade and the student's School ID to the School's own Canvas instance, at the School's direction — a School-directed disclosure to the School's own system, not processing on our behalf.

Each subprocessor is bound to use data only to provide its service to us. We update this list before adding any subprocessor that would handle student personal information, and — where a Data Privacy Agreement requires — notify the School.

For how each provider is used and our full data-handling commitments, see our Privacy Policy.
